Certainly if you would like to know more about my commitment, experience and initiatives to progress Australian Tourism, global tourism, help alleviate poverty through native community’s intelligent use of of their own resources, to help others in need, to help progress Rural Women Artists, and Aboriginal businesses, and to generally stay on the job, I have more URL’s given below for you to Click ON.
The photo above shows me at the 2002 UN’s World Summit on Sustainable Development with Janna and Atta, the two personal guides designated by the South Africa Ministry of Tourism to show me around. My travels over the past 40 years have had me circle the globe more than 100 times and visit many developing nations on each visit. There was a purpose and that was to visit many Ministries of Tourism and learn what they were doing to attract overseas visitors.
Regarding my ongoing commitment to develop Rural Tourism . Here are some interesting URL’s for you to Click on.
If you are out there, and read this BLOG, and are really interested in developments to benefit your Rural Regions, say who you are and please leave your EMAIL for later communications.

Sunday, November 29th, 2009JOHN COOK IS ANOTHER OF MY TEAM OF SUPPORTING PROFESSIONALS THERE TO ASSIST BOOST VISITORS INTO A NEW RURAL REGION. JOHN WAS THE FIRST BUSINESSMAN IN THE WORLD TO NAME A HOSTEL A ‘BACKPACKERS’.
Sunday, November 29th, 2009
He ran this business, hands on, 7 days a week for 20 years. It was located at 162 Victoria Avenue , Kings Cross and it eventually accommodated, with a number of linked buildings, 400 backpackers at the one time. As more businessmen sought to copy this business, and seek his guidance, the NSW Backpackers Association was formed. John became it first Chair for many years. His wife Patricia is both a Sculpture and Painter. The white statue seen in the painting is called “Gloria”. John is standing with his cousin Gene, a Canberra Architect.
The white , Sulphur Crested Parrot was the Backpackers mascot and was taught to say “Hello Backpackers” in German, Japanese and English. John didn’t print brochures and developed his business reputation and overseas custom by the excellence in his, on site, visitor hosting.
He subsequently sold this business for many millions and retired to the NSW Country.
